Research Days

The University of Toronto’s Annual Microbiology & Infectious Disease-focused Research Days are held each year to celebrate the broad range of basic and clinical research being performed across the University of Toronto’s campus and its affiliated hospitals. Monday (June 3rd 2019) is a full day of talks by trainees, with speakers selected from the abstracts submitted for presentation during our Research Days. Tuesday (June 4th 2019is our main event, consisting of talks by world-renowned keynote speakers and from our newest faculty members, as well as poster session displaying work by the rest of our faculty and their trainees. This event normally involves ~250 participants and over 70 posters, so it is a very full two days.

To present a talk or a poster please submit an abstract by May 24th 2019

Poster Presentation Specifications:
Please keep your poster dimensions to 5.5 ft (width) x 3 ft (height) or smaller.

Your poster will be assigned a number on the day of presentation so please make sure to stick by your poster during your designated session (A: 2-3pm or B: 3-4pm). Prepare a 3-5 minute talk for our judges, prizes will be awarded to the best posters!
